The ETH World Project 3D-Web-Content develops a tool for the easy acquisition and publication of web content with complex three-dimensional objects. Object acquisition can be accomplished with conventional equipment - an LCD-projector and a digital camera.
These 3-D models can be integrated into any web pages where they can be viewed and manipulated interactively - visitors only have to install a plugin for their web-browser (Mozilla/Firefox/Netscape). Currently the plugins are only available for Windows and Linux.
Competition

Just look at the new IBM T42 Model and mail the sentence shown on the laptop-screen to
neptun@ethworld.ethz.ch
and win an iPod shuffle or a 512MB USB Flash Drive.
