Call for Projects 2004

ETH World 2000-2005

The ETH World program came to an end in 2005. This website is no longer updated and contains archival information about the activities.

At the moment no further call for projects is planned for 2004, but the Program Managament welcomes ideas and proposals for new projects.

The ETH World program provides funding for projects carried out by departments, laboratories or other units of ETH Zurich. Some of these projects are pioneer projects within education and research. Others are infrastructure and infostructure projects putting in place the resources and possibilities for ETH-wide applications.

With the 2004 call for proposals (deadline 1 March 2004) ETH World looked for new projects implementing the overall goals of ETH World. Preference was given to projects with broad impact, i.e. projects offering a useful contribution to the work environment of ETH members. A special focus was on projects that develop and implement tools offering useful services to ETH members and external stakeholders. The sustainable operation of the developed tool is one of the key selection criteria.
