Report of ETH World Interim Evaluation

14.02.2004

Intermediate Evaluation of the ETH World Program
pdf-Report of the Peer Review Committee
pdf-Comments of the Program Director to the Report

The report from the intermediate evaluation of the ETH World program is now available for the public. The report was prepared by an international group of experts mandated by the Executive Board to carry out a review of the activities 2000-2003. The review panel visited Zurich in November 2003.

The report calls for stronger guidance for ETH World from the Executive Board of ETH Zurich. It also recommends stronger interaction of the ETH World projects with external projects and institutions.

In response to the recommendations, the Executive Board has launched a process to develop a comprehensive ICT strategy for ETH Zurich. The process is lead by a Steering Committee, chaired by Prof. Gerhard Schmitt, Vice-President Planning and Logistics. The other members are the Rector, Prof. Konrad Osterwalder, Prof. Ulrich Suter, Vice-President Research, and Prof. William J Mitchell from the MIT Media Lab.
