Learning from our peers: ETH World organizes ICT study tour to Canada and USA

ETH Zurich organises a study trip to leading universities and research labs in the USA and Canada to learn about best practice in the use of information and telecommunication technologies (ICT) to support teaching, learning, research and services.

The ETH delegation will be composed of about 15 persons: professors and leading managers of the university.

The delegation will visit following institutions:

• University of British Columbia, Vancouver
• Stanford University, Stanford
• Microsoft Research, Redmond
• University of California, Berkeley
• The Internet Archive, San Francisco
• Institute for the Future IFTF, Menlo Park
• Google, Mountain View
• IDEO, Palo Alto
• Logitech, Fremont
• Xten Corporation, Vancouver

The delegation will also meet Alumni from ETH Zurich and Lausanne working in the San Francisco bay area. The Alumni are asked to give their opinion about trends in ICT.
