The new introductory text on Quantum Phsyics is based on experiments showing typical quantum phenomena. From these the fundamental notions of Quantum Physics are derived heuristically. The experiments include eleven demonstrations adapted from lecture presentations and laboratory courses, together with the muSR (Muon-Spin-Ratation)-Experiment from the proton accelerator at the Paul Scherrer Institute. The specific way of experimentally observing these quantum phenomena and its relationship to theory are made available to the student from a CD-Rom containing this material. Its title is "Experiments as a Key to Quantum Physics". The CD-Rom is structured according to a course of lectures and thus could serve as a prototype for the university lecture on the Internet. In combination with the textbook, the CD-Rom leads to a novel introduction of Quantum Physics.
